What I Ate Wednesday: Honolulu

WIAW

Happy WIAW… here’s what I’ve been eating lately:

BREAKFAST: avocado toast on Ezekial English muffin… I seriously ate this every morning for a week (with my coffee, of course).

LUNCH: best lunch lately was the yogi sandwich (I ordered it with bacon but it comes with sun-dried tomato hummus, carrots, cucumber, kale and sprouts) from Sprout near where I work.

SNACKS: potato chips, unfortunately. They taste so good but then afterwards I feel so crappy! I got these for free and after they were done, I did not buy more!

WIAW Honolulu

DINNER: two good dinners to share from of late: Kiyo made us lemon chicken, quinoa and vegetable stir fry for dinner on Valentine’s Day :)

I ate the leftovers for dinner the next night.

This weekend he also made tomato sauce from scratch, which we enjoyed over pasta, with wine and an organic mixed greens salad (with carrots, celery and cheddar) all from our Ma’o Farm Box. I made the dressing with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, mustard and garlic powder, salt and pepper.

DESSERT: I’ve been loving dark chocolate caramel sea salt bars lately. They are dangerously good!

I’ve been able to find an hour here and there to make it to the beach between work and yoga.

One day I had a lot of reading to do for class so I brought it to the beach :)

And lastly, Kiyo and I enjoyed the best sunset at Diamond Head lookout last weekend, while sharing a bottle of wine.
